Available on compact disks, these programs can be used for faculty in-service sessions either with groups or by individual teachers. The Management Institute is a 60-hour professional development program intended for newly appointed campus directors and individuals aspiring to campus management and leadership positions. Leadership topics are covered in each unit. The program is facilitator-led , but includes many activities that promote group interaction. The insights and skills gained can help participants achieve their personal objectives, while enhancing their ability to lead the achievement of goals at their institutions.
In addition, Training Masters customizes management development programs for postsecondary schools around two main components. They are (1) how well each manager functions in his/her respective area considering both job knowledge and people skills, and (2) how well the management team functions as a group. Each of these components can be examined alone; however, a focus on building the management strength in one component could be minimized by weakness in the other. When individual managers are performing well in each respective area but fragmentation in the management team's communication exists, disappointing achievement levels along with other weak impacts can undermine overall school performance.
Customized Training Programs that address specific topics can be created by the Training Masters team. Career schools, colleges, and other postsecondary institutions often establish priority training areas as they evaluate procedures and systems, implement changes, determine goals, and pursue opportunities. Whether the objective is to polish customer service, improve staff communication, or boost enrollments, Training Masters will combine the organization's profile with the training content and develop a customized program that works!
